Honda – ASIMO believes in the power of imagination
Bangkok, 16 June 2008: Mr. Adisak Rohitasune, Senior Vice President of Asian Honda Motor Co., Ltd. and ASIMO, the most advanced humanoid robot, led a road show to promote the “Honda ASIMO Super Idea Contest 4” under the theme, “From the Power of Dreams, To Future Inventions” and invite students from the Setsatien School to submit their entries. The road show includes a workshop that lets students express their creativity and ideas as a warm up before the actual submissions. Winners of the contest will receive the HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn’s Plaque and scholarships valued at over 100,000 baht. The winners will also represent Thai youth and display their creations at the “Honda Kid’s Idea Contest 7” in Japan, and have the chance to visit ASIMO’s birthplace.
Kids in Pratom 1 – 6 who are interested in the program can submit their inventions between April 1 – July 15.
