Honda social contribution units get together
An important gathering of regional Honda management units to discuss ways to further enhance the Company’s social contributions
Bangkok – 1 March 2008: Asian Honda Motor Ltd. led by Mr. Tatsuhiro Oyama, (sitting: 4th from left), President and CEO, presided over the opening of the 1st Asia-Oceania Social Contribution Committee Meeting. The event was organized to outline the Honda’s social contribution direction and discuss ways to create an effective network that facilitates sharing social contribution experience and information among the region. The meeting reflected Honda’s commitment to good corporate citizenship and its corporate vision for 2010 of being a company that society wants to exist. The meeting was joined by over 26 participants from 12 nations including, Australia, India, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, the Philippines, Pakistan, Taiwan, Singapore, Vietnam and Thailand.
