Our Humanitarian contributions

A friend in times of need

Desiring to be a contributing member of society and to foster a cooperative, mutually supportive relationship with the communities where we work and live, Honda believers it is essential to help meet society's diverse needs, especially in time of disaster and distress.

Covering and area representing some one-third of the world's population, the Asia-Oceania region embraces extremes of poverty and wealth and countries with correspondingly diverse abilities and resources to respond to nature disasters or other tragic circumstances.

The support we can extend is dictated by local circumstances, by the severity of the humanitarian need and by the resources we have at our disposal, but always there is a willingness to help.

This commitment to help is based on one of our founding principles – respect for the individual – by which we understand and accept that the hurt or deprivation of one human being is felt and shared by all of us.
